As downtown Medina continues to grow as adestination for shopping, dining, weddings, and community events, the need forovernight accommodations and dedicated event space has become increasinglyapparent. The Legacy Hotel & Event Center was designed to fill that gap,creating a boutique hospitality destination that complements the city'shistoric character while supporting tourism, local businesses, and continuedeconomic growth.

AVID Architects designed the hotel to serve bothovernight guests and the broader community. The development includes 77 guestrooms alongside several public-facing destinations, including a street-levelcoffee shop, a full-service restaurant, and a rooftop restaurant and baroffering views of downtown Medina. A dedicated event center provides flexiblespace for weddings, conferences, and private events, while guest-exclusiveamenities such as a private courtyard and fitness center create a comfortable andelevated stay.

Through a collaborative design-build process andAVID's integrated architecture and in-house MEP engineering, the project teamefficiently navigated site constraints, public approvals, and Marriott TributePortfolio brand standards to deliver a distinct hospitality destination.

Soon, The Legacy Hotel & Event Center will serve as an anchor for downtown Medina, providing a place for visitors to stay, residents to gather, and businesses to thrive. By blending boutique hospitality with publicly accessible dining and event experiences, the project strengthens the city's vibrant downtown and supports its continued growth as a regional destination.
