Vitalia set out to create a premier senior living community that would support residents through every stage of aging, from independent living to assisted living and memory care. Situated on a wooded site, the project challenged the design team to achieve an ambitious unit count within an aggressive budget while preserving the character and comfort of a high-end residential community.

AVID Architects responded with an efficient site plan and building layout that delivered 141 units within a 157,977-square-foot campus. By carefully navigating code and structural limitations, the team designed the largest wood-framed building in the City of Stow without compromising the resident experience. The community includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care, complemented by amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness center, salons, bistros, and a dog park that encourage wellness, social connection, and an active lifestyle.

Today, Vitalia provides residents with the flexibility to remain within one community as their needs evolve while enjoying the comfort and amenities of a hospitality-inspired environment. The project demonstrates how efficient planning, creative problem-solving, and purposeful design can deliver exceptional value without sacrificing quality.
