Serving as the Criteria (Designing) Architect, AVID Architects established the design vision for Akron Children's six-story parking garage before guiding the project as the Owner's Representative through design and construction. Beyond providing 1,255 parking spaces, the structure features an interactive illuminated façade that allows young patients to change the building's colors, transforming a functional campus asset into part of the hospital experience.
